Hello, I’m Jane and I’m so glad you’re here!

You must be a person who appreciates the beauty and ceremony known as afternoon tea.

Born and raised in England, on the outskirts of London, I am the owner and chef at Silver Scone Tea Parties, I focus on the traditional details and aesthetics of classic, English style afternoon tea, yet all with a twist of whimsy.

Our themed parties are held at historic, Millbrick House. Built in 1830 and set on 36 acres of gardens and woodlands, attending a tea with us will be an experience, full of English etiquette and perfect to celebrate a special occasion or a luxurious social gathering of friends and loved ones.

But we also create a modern and artistic approach to a tea party. With incredible table settings, and detailed decor changes for every new month, our guests return again and again to see what we will come up with next. Our goal is for you to spend quality time with your friends and loved ones here at Millbrick, enjoying a unique experience at a fabulous, themed afternoon tea that will delight your senses and spark your imagination.

Reserve your spot at one of our exclusive tea parties soon, because they are only held three or four times per month. Or talk to us about hosting a private event for your special occasion. Our tea party dates do tend to fill up fast once reservations open, so I encourage you to join our ‘newsletter email list’ for up-to-date information and an ‘early bird’ chance at reserving a table.

Useful Information *

  • All our tea parties are $50 per person. We do not have a separate children’s menu available.

  • We suggest that only children age 6 and up accompany you to tea. We find they enjoy the experience more than younger children and it also allows our other guests to have a pleasant afternoon.

  • Afternoon tea experience seatings at Millbrick House start at 12pm or 3pm, and each tea party lasts for approximately 2 hours. Arriving late may shorten your service time in the tea room.

  • We require a credit card when you make a reservation. It will not be charged at the time of booking. A $30 per person fee will be charged if you are a ‘no show’ on the day or do not give us 48 hours advanced notice of changes or cancellation.

  • Some special tea events will require prepayment and will not be refundable.

  • New Hampshire Meal tax is included in the price of afternoon tea service.

  • Gratuities are greatly appreciated by our servers and are not included in the price of afternoon tea service.

  • Please inform us of any food allergies or preferences when booking a table. We can accommodate GF, nut free, vegetarian or most specific allergies. At this time we can not accommodate dairy free or vegan.
